Privacy Policy – Subtitles Translator

Data we process

Google account: when you sign in with Google we receive only your email address and an anonymous account ID. We never receive your password, contacts or other data.
Anonymous mode: without sign-in the extension receives a random ID not linked to your identity. To prevent abuse we keep a hash of your IP address for up to 26 hours.
Subtitle text: displayed subtitles are sent to our server to be translated. We do not store who watched what. Translations are cached by a hash of the text for up to 180 days, not linked to any user.
Usage: we store the number of translated characters per account to track the free trial.
Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only receive a customer ID and subscription status.

Who we share data with

Google (Gemini API and Cloud Translation) – subtitle text for translation;
Cloudflare – server and database hosting;
Stripe – payments and subscriptions.

We do not sell data or use it for advertising. The extension does not read content of pages other than the supported streaming services.

Retention

Account data is kept while you use the service. You can request deletion at any time at maxasoft2026@gmail.com; we will complete it within 30 days (except data we must keep under accounting law).

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg).

Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
